Caffeinated Thoughts: Fatherhood Begins at Conception, but not Personhood?

Oh my goodness, this is something that gets me so fired up I could rant and rave without end. But I won't...

Just this: "A ban to stop aborted babies from being shelved to die would be burdensome to their mothers. She alone should decide whether her baby lives or dies. Before voting "no" for a 2nd time in the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 5, 2002, Obama stated:

What we are doing here is to create one more burden on women, and I can't support that."

Yes please, let's not burden the mother with the death of her child!

When I found out Obama supported partial birth abortion, I did not even know what that was, so I read up about it. I honestly could not believe that something like this was taking place in America. I was shocked, I wanted to be sick. When I tried to tell my friends about it they didn't want to hear about it because it so so disgusting. And yet this procedure is being done by seemingly 'civilized' people in a civilized country and is being endorsed by the leaders of the nation. It really jolts me. To answer the question: I just don't see how anyone can claim that an unborn child is not a person. It breaks my heart that there is more concern for the woman, than for a defenseless baby. Ok I stop. That's all.

We lost two children to miscarriage. I wonder how someone can purposely kill their own. Sad Very Sad!
